Device Polling

The polling sub-section contains polling information applicable to added devices and Work from Home devices.

Please note that Polling is executed based on the time zone of the administrator who set the Polling Time settings.

Status Polling

Heartbeat	Indicates how often DM Agent will post the device status to CloudStream DM in minutes. If nothing has changed from Check Interval for the minutes configured in the Heartbeat, the information will still be posted to CloudStream DM. Indicates how often the device status is checked internally by the embedded DM Agent in seconds.

Heartbeat

Indicates how often DM Agent will post the device status to CloudStream DM in minutes.

If nothing has changed from Check Interval for the minutes configured in the Heartbeat, the information will still be posted to CloudStream DM. The Heartbeat updates the status of each polling type (Status, Supplies, Other).

Policy Check

Time of Day	The Policy Check will run based on the specified Time of the Day in a 24-hour format. The field accepts a value in HH:MM format. When the Policy Check runs, all Device Policies with enforcement type other than "Disabled" will check or apply the policy templates. Depending on your policy template, the target devices are required to be online and not in use during the set time of the day. It is recommended to set a time where no one is using the devices.		23:00

The Policy Check will run based on the specified Time of the Day in a 24-hour format. The field accepts a value in HH:MM format.

When the Policy Check runs, all Device Policies with enforcement type other than "Disabled" will check or apply the policy templates.

Depending on your policy template, the target devices are required to be online and not in use during the set time of the day. It is recommended to set a time where no one is using the devices.

Work from Home Polling
